Kal Lake Hideaway Vacation Rental is located on the shoreline of Kalamalka Lake (one of the top ten most beautiful lakes in the world, according to National Geographic Magazine). We are located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the quiet community of Oyama, British Columbia, Canada. Kal Lake Hideaway borders a bird sanctuary and is nestled amid six acres of park-like and forest terrain.  Guests can take a peaceful stroll around the three acres of lawns and gardens, or try the easy walking trails throughout an additional three acres of forest. For additional enjoyment and fun there are four kayaks, two stand up paddle boards and a two-person peddle boat all available at no extra charge. 

Kal Lake Hideaway is a true getaway, yet remains centrally located between two of the Okanagan’s largest cities; Kelowna and Vernon. Guests will be close to all the amenities of urban life and the Okanagan’s myriad of tourist destinations and attractions, yet far enough away to experience a peaceful, tranquil rejuvenation. Kal Lake Hideaway is adult oriented and designed to accommodate families with children over the age of 14 years.

Due to our unique location, bordering a bird sanctuary and wildlife, we thank our guests for leaving their pets at home.

Our hideaway offers a private, completely furnished and self contained ground level bright vacation suite. During the spring of 2020 our suite underwent a full renovation and now offers a King size bed, sitting area, four piece bathroom, large walk in closet and a complete kitchen equipped with everything you would ever need, right down to a margarita shaker! 

We believe this is a piece of heaven on earth and would love to share our paradise with anyone who likes to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. While visiting you may spot one of the many deer who live in our forest or an eagle or osprey hunting above the shoreline. Kal Lake Hideaway promises a secluded, peaceful experience you will remember for a lifetime! It is perfect for that special getaway occasion like a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, ladies retreat, stress free holiday, or just because!
